BROADSIDE 29XX

BROADSIDE 29XX is a tabletop role-playing game designed to be played with pen, paper, and one full standard deck of playing cards. Everything you'd need to start playing is included in the zine! All relative rules, tables, and information are at your disposal for running single-session adventures or longer, multi-session campaigns for one player or a group of players. Includes one, full adventure module: SACRIFICED TO THE SWARM.

Gameplay is designed to be simple, fast, and satisfying. Parallel and complementary combat systems, for personal and ship-to-ship engagements, keep encounters dynamic and allow for tactical creativity while maintaining a coherent foundation players can easily follow. Number of core stats and abilities are kept to a manageable minimum, allowing for more fluid and engaging interactions and less time needed to consult rules for any given situation.

The universe of BROADSIDE 29XX is inspired by atomic age science fiction and Napoleonic-era military combat. Driven to the brink and divided, Mankind must defend its existence on various colonies within a habitable nebula populated by dangerous antagonists. Players assume the role of Agents of the STELLAR ENTENTE, soldiers, adventurers, and mercenaries tasked with the protection of Mankind’s last bastions within the PALE NEBULA!
